EARG Focus Area
EARG’s main business is to offer applied research and consultancy services in all areas of our core business as described below. Work in those areas cover among others Environmental Assessment (i.e., Environmental and Social Impact Assessment; Environmental and Social baseline studies, and Strategic Environmental and Social Appraisal), Resettlement Action Planning (RAPs) and Resettlement Policy Frameworks, Environmental and Social Management Frameworks, Environmental and Social Management Systems. Others works include preparation and carrying out Monitoring and Evaluation for the implementation of the Resettlement Action Plans and Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP for various projects, policies, programmes and strategies covering sectors such as mining, energy (power transmission lines, wind hydro power development, solar) road infrastructure, railways, manufacturing and industries. Also, we carry out works related to social development, policy development and analysis, biodiversity assessment and management, and regional planning.
